Bloodfeast wakes Minrah, who sets about trying to help the Order.

Minrah is unconscious from being zapped by Sunny. Bloodfeast the Extreme-inator is approaching her.
Haley (off-panel): Unnnh! Darn it!
Elan (off-panel): Haley, stop dodging!
- Panel 2
Bloodfeast opens his mouth to bite Minrah.
Haley (off-panel): Elan, if I stop dodging then I'll get poisoned!
Elan (off-panel): I know, that's why I suggested it. Duh.

Bloodfeast bites Minrah - "CHOMP!" Minrah wakes up.
Minrah: OWWWW!
- Panel 4
Minrah: No, Captain, I wasn't asleep at my post and night school definitely isn't affecting my job...
Minrah: ...performance.
Minrah: No, wait, I finished that already.
- Panel 5
Minrah surveys the scene. Roy is still unconscious; Durkon has completely turned to stone; Belkar is running away from Mr. Scruffy; Haley is dodging arrows; Elan is standing back and watching.
Haley: Oh good, you're awake.
Haley: V and the boys are all out of it, can you please cleric at them vigorously while I do, uh, whatever I'm gonna do about this?

Minrah: Yeah, sure, no problem.
Minrah: Except I don't know how to fix most of this.
Minrah: OK, one step at a time. I can overcome fear. I mean magically, not just through therapy.
Minrah: Come on, little guy.

Minrah and Bloodfeast run over to Belkar. Bloodfeast bites Mr. Scruffy's tail - "CLAMP!"
Minrah: Sorry about this, Belkar. Just don't be mad at me later, it's for your own good.
Belkar: No, get away! You're in league with the cat!
Minrah: Calm emotions!

Mr. Scruffy, still restrained by Bloodfeast, is trying to scratch a nonchalant Belkar.
Belkar: Oh. My cat seems to be attempting to dismember me.
Belkar: I am indifferent to this turn of events.

Minrah: Well, at least you're not mad.
Minrah: Go put your magic clasp on Elan.
Belkar: I will do that because I am perfectly fine with being told what to do.

Elan: Hi, Belkar! Are you still fighting, or have you decided to lie down and give up?
Belkar: Meh.
Elan: That's a great start! Why don't we-

Belkar applies his Protection from Evil charm to Elan, breaking Sunny's enchantment.
Elan: Oh! Belkar, your little brooch doodad broke the charm!
Belkar: ...

Elan: Don't worry, now I can help Vaarsuvius!
Belkar: I'm not worried.
Elan: Really?
Belkar: I have no strong feelings one way or the other.

Elan: Wow, that's the most encouraging you've ever been!
Belkar: I suppose.
Elan: Ha ha, you're just bursting with an absence of negativity, aren't you? I'll try my best to live up to your tepid indifference!

- The Order are under effects from Sunny's eye stalk beams as follows:
- Durkon — Flesh to Stone
- Minrah — Sleep
- Haley — Telekinesis (on her bow)
- Belkar — Fear
- Mr. Scruffy — Charm Monster
- Elan — Charm Person
- Minrah was hit with an eye beam that made her fall asleep. The asleep condition ends when the creature receives damage, meaning Bloodfeast the Extreme-inator's bite dealt at least 1 damage to her.
- Minrah then uses Calm Emotions, a spell that, among other effects, removes fear from a creature and prevents them from attacking other creatures, curing Belkar of the fear ray's effects
- Like the asleep condition, Calm Emotions ends if damage is dealt to a calmed creature, which is likely why Bloodfeast restrained Mr.Scruffy (so that the spell wouldn't end).
- Belkar then uses his amulet of Protection from Evil to remove the charm condition from Elan. As Elan isn't evil, he isn't harmed by the pendant like Belkar is.
