"Durkon": So to speak.

"Durkon": I get what you're trying to do. I asked a simple question that would help me impersonate you, and you showed me an elaborate memory-scene about your mother.
"Durkon": You're hoping your clueless friends will notice the lag, and maybe start to wonder if their buddy's corpse is being driven around like a stagecoach by an evil spirit.
"Durkon": (Because it is.)
"Durkon": Could happen, right?

"Durkon": Wrong.
"Durkon": We're inside your mind, which means everything that happens in here happens at the speed of thought.
"Durkon": Only a split second will pass outside your skull, no matter how many memories you give me at once.

"Durkon": I don't.
"Durkon": But three days ago, you were fighting me over stuff like Roy's name, and now you're giving me more than I asked for.

"Durkon": And I just wanted to make sure you understood that you are wasting.
"Durkon": Your.
"Durkon": Time.

"Durkon": But it's really all the same to me. The sooner I absorb all your memories, the sooner I can stop talking to you.
"Durkon": Usually, the process takes a few months, but it's not a problem if you want to start your eternal dormancy early.

"Durkon": At any rate, I still got what I needed from your little tableau, so as to best imitate you.

The scene around him is now shown. Belkar and Roy stand by his side, keeping balance as the ship is rocked. Bandana is shouting orders to the crew, since the Mechane seems to be caught in a storm.

A bolt of lightning hits the engine of the Mechane with a "KAAABOOM", setting it on fire.

- As panel 4 mentions, "Durkon" wasn't referring to Roy by the name since the meetup in comic #908, just calling him lad.
