- Panel 1
Roy: OK, let's keep moving, people.
O-Chul: Thank you for attending to my wound. My own healing powers are not available at the moment.
Minrah: No problem. We're multiclass buddies, we gotta stick together, right?
O-Chul: Ha ha, yes. And the last thing I need is another scar.
- Panel 2
Minrah: You know, I used to have a badass face scar, too, but I had to get rid of it when I became a cleric.
Minrah: It turns out no one trusts a healer with a visible wound, you know?
Minrah: So one day, I just sat down and cut out the scar tissue with a dagger. Then I healed it up with magic, and now you can't ever tell!
- Panel 3
O-Chul: Didn't that bleed a lot?
Minrah: Oh, heck yeah. I ruined a tablecloth.
Lien: Wow, that's a lot better than getting scurvy.
- Panel 4
Minrah: I feel like most things are...?
Lien: See, I knew an old sailor who wanted to get rid of his scars, so he went out to sea until his wounds started popping open.
Lien: From the scurvy.
Lien: Then he came back and paid a cleric to heal them up all at once.
- Panel 5
O-Chul: But he... still had scurvy.
Lien: Yeah, that's why it was a bad plan.
Lien: Of course, now he lives with Lord Hinjo on a tropical island filled with citrus trees, so I guess it all worked out.
- Panel 6
Minrah: Actually, I don't even think that would work for a paladin anyway.
Lien: Oh yeah, we're immune to disease. So I think that would include severe nutritional deficiencies?
Elan: Tell that to poor Sir Rickets of Pellagra.
- Panel 7
O-Chul: I appreciate the suggestion, but honestly, I prefer to keep my scars. They serve to remind me of all the adversity I have already overcome to get this far.
Minrah: That makes sense. I thought I'd put it out there, since a lot of warriors change their mind when they retire and start looking at dating.
- Panel 8
O-Chul: Thank you, but I have never had any interest in such pursuits, and I am unlikely to change my mind.
Minrah: OK, fair enough. Forget I said any-
- Panel 9
Sunny: Wait, are you asexual? Me too!!
- Panel 10
O-Chul: I...suppose so. I don't usually use that term...
Sunny: So how do you reproduce? Parthogenesis? Budding?
Sunny: Or mitosis? Do you split into two smaller versions of yourself?
Sunny: Wait, is that where gnomes come from??
- Panel 11
O-Chul: No. How do I put this?
O-Chul: I reproduce by living my life in such a way that my deeds might inspire others and my ideals may take root in their hearts.
O-Chul: Thus, when I am gone, there will still be those who are my descendants. At least in the way that matters to me.
- Panel 12
Sunny: Ohhhhhhh. So like spores.
O-Chul: Yes. I make invisible mind spores.
Sunny: That is so cool!!
