Calder: I could hover here and trade spells until you perish, wizard-
Calder: -but doing so will leave me exposed to your teammates.

Calder: Time, perhaps, to call on my own.

As Bloodfeast enters Sunny's anti-magic cone, the Baleful Polymorph effect on him fades, causing Bloodfeast to turn back into a full-sized Allosaurus. His foot claws stick into Calder's side as he sinks his teeth into the dragon's neck, causing Calder to drop Vaarsuvius. CHOMP!

The panel cuts back to Elan and Belkar.
Elan: That would have been really cool if you hadn't mentioned it earlier.
Belkar: It's cool now!! Why can't you live in the moment?!?
D&D Context[]
- Lightning Bolt is a 3rd-level spell striking each creature within its area of effect (a 120-ft. line) with 1d6 points of electricity damage per caster level, up to a maximum of 10d6.
- Aberrations are defined as having bizarre anatomy, strange abilities, an alien mindset, or any combination of the three, which covers Beholders like Sunny perfectly.
- Protection from Evil is a 1st level spell that can ward a creature from attacks by evil creatures, from mental control, and summoned creatures for 1 minute per level. However, as it is a Touch spell, Minrah would have to physically touch Sunny to cast the spell on them.
Trivia[]
- This is the first time Bloodfeast has been seen in his true form since #926 and in the new art style in said form.
- The dialog betwen Elan and Belkar in the last panel references comic #1239, where Belkar indeed tries to pull the "throw-polymorphed-allosaur-into-anti-magic-field" stunt, only to be thwarted by the very antimagic field preventing him from getting Bloodfeast out of the Bag of Holding.
