Amyth is a dwarf and childhood friend of Durkon Thundershield. Amyth's mother was very close friends with Sigdi Thundershield, and so Durkon affectionately refers to Amyth as his cousin, though they are not related by blood. Amyth's brother Logann Brightstone is close in age to Durkon, and the two of them were close friends.

Amyth was younger than Durkon growing up, and Sigdi's circle of close friends, Durkon's "aunts" and "uncles", shared dinner every other week, so the two spent some of their youth together. Amyth still a child when she attended Durkon's ordination into the priesthood of Thor.

When Durkon returned to Firmament and to life, Amyth was among the family members who answered Sigdi's call to help him.

She may share her brother's surname, Brightstone, but it is not known if this is the case. She may have taken a new surname through marriage, or Logann may have acquired his surname through marriage; the naming customs of dwarves in Order of the Stick have not been explored in the source material.

Powers and Abilities

• Spellcaster: Amyth shows her spellcasting abilities in the battle at the Council of Clans. It is unknown if she is a Wizard or a Sorcerer (or some other arcane spellcasting class). She must be at least 3rd level to have cast Bull's Strength, and have either a 12+ Intelligence or 12+ Charisma, depending on her class.
