Blueriver Fort is a town and fortress located on the Blue River in the Southern Mountains[1] that is dependent on Azure City. A watchtower that was supplied monthly by the Fort was located seven days' ride to the west.
Blueriver Fort was a base of operations for the Azure City military defending Azurite lands from humanoids of the badlands, commanded by General Claire Nhek in 1171. After O-Chul's garrison was defeated at a nearby village, he lead the villagers to the fort for their protection.[2]
The fort was the site of one of the first battles of the Azure City Campaign, in which it was reduced to rubble by Xykon, Redcloak and the Hobgoblin army, just shortly before finding Miko Miyazaki on her way back from the Dwarven Lands. A watchtower seven days to the west expected its monthly supplies from Blueriver, but it was four days late due to having been destroyed.[3]
