D&D Context[]

  • Giants, including Frost Giants, have the special ability to catch rocks and other projectiles that would otherwise hit them as a free action with a successful Reflex save. Their other special abilities are immunity to cold, low light vision, and rock throwing.

Trivia[]

  • The title plays on both the giantess' ability to catch thrown boulders, as well as the artist catching up on updates to the comic. He had taken more than a month off of the main story between #1070 and #1071 in order to complete How the Paladin Got His Scar, and the two days between this strip and the previous is historically a very quick turnaround for him.
