While the Order searches for Girard's Gate, Hinjo decides to hedge his risk by sending O-Chul and Lien, the last remaining paladins of the Sapphire Guard to Kraagor's Gate at the North Pole. They travel first on Lien's paladin mount, Razor, then on foot over the Gelid Glacier, eventually reaching the gate. When they get there Team Evil has arrived ahead of them (having only stopped at Girard's Gate for a few minutes, just in time to see it explode). They set up camp on a mountainside overlooking Kraagor's Tombs and observe, as per their instructions. O-Chul then learns that MitD is working at cross purposes with Team Evil, frustrating their attempts to methodically clear the tombs by painting red exes on doors that they have not actually cleared.
