Resistance is Crushed

After finding Xykon's phylactery in the sewers of Gobbotopia, the Azurite Resistance ambushes the search team and comes into possession of the artifact. However, before they are able to destroy it, spies in their ranks betray them to Redcloak who utterly crushes the Resistance. Only Niu escapes alone to tell Hinjo of their fate. With the phylactery secured, Redcloak returns with plans of his own for the artifact. When Tsukiko interferes with these plans, he casually murders her. Team Evil then leaves Gobbotopia to retire to Xykon's fortress on the Astral plane before proceeding to Girard's Gate, the location of which they know from Serini Toormuck's diary.
