D&D Context Edit

  • Goblin 1: And I was all, "Uh, Ted, we have a listed Intelligence score of 10, there's only so much I can do with that."
    • Goblin's have an Intelligence score of 10 in the Monster Manual.
    • A Xvart is an intelligent race of goblins.
  • The order is making their Move Silently checks to see if they can sneak past the goblins. Elan rolls a 4, which is especially low.
  • Invisibility Purge is a 3rd-level Cleric spell that removes all Invisibility effects.

Trivia Edit

  • "Work smarter, not harder" is the motto of Scrooge McDuck in the animated TV series DuckTales, which ran from 1987-1990.
  • This is the first appearance of Ted. Rich Burlew has specified that the goblin spellcasters in #90, #93, #105, and #107 were not necessarily intended to be the same person, or to have the name Ted, but the Forum thread has decided to make them all the same guy, and this wiki concurs.
  • This the first appearance of the goblin who kills Fruit Pie.
