Durkon's Cousin's Brother-in-Law's Niece's Fiancé is an unnamed character of apparent Outsider origin with a somewhat distant relationship to Durkon Thundershield. Based on his blue speech bubbles and glowing blue eyes, it is assumed that he is some type of Outsider, i.e. that he is not native to the Prime Material Plane in the Dungeons & Dragons cosmology upon which Order of the Stick is based. Other characters with blue speech bubbles are Celia, a sylph native to the Elemental Plane of Air, and Eugene Greenhilt, the spirit of Roy's father, who is resident in the holding area outside the good-aligned Outer Planes.

Sigdi Thundershield sent out a call to her extended family to aid Durkon in his fight against Gontor Hammerfell who was attempting to rig the dwarven Council of Clan Elders. Durkon's Cousin's Brother-in-Law's Niece's Fiancé was among those of the family who answered the call. Logann was well aware of his puissance, and used his soldiers to buy time until Durkon's Cousin's Brother-in-Law's Niece's Fiancé arrived. When he did he immediately killed one of the earth elementals combating the Order.

He was the second dwarf through the window as the group attacked the outer chamber of the council building. He engaged with one of the Creed of the Stone vampires, but was plane shifted to another plane where he is eternally falling down an infinite pain slope.

His ability to enter through the orange barrier protecting the council chamber implies that he's a dwarf, in some sense, or at least has a dwarven body (like the vampires present).

Powers and Abilities

• Durkon's Cousin's Brother-in-Law's Niece's Fiancé displays great combat prowess in fighting the earth elementals outside the Council of Clan Elders in Firmament. He presumably has high levels in one or more Player Character classes.
• Based on his use of some kind of energy sword, four classes have been proposed:
  • Cleric, using Flame Blade
  • Soulknife, from the 2004 D&D 3.5 Psionics Handbook, using that class's feature to create the energy blade
  • Incarnate, from 2005 D&D 3.5 Magic of Incarnum, using a sword made of Incarnum, the material of souls
  • Champion, a homebrew class by Rich Burlew
