Haerta Bloodsoak, a Necromancer, was the most powerful of the three Spliced souls. It was implied that she was psychopathic as Xykon is, since she invented a spell that wiped out an entire bloodline.
Haerta was spliced onto Vaarsuvius by Nero, the Neutral Evil director of the IFCC with purple eyes. Vaarsuvius was able to hold onto Haerta for 3 minutes and 6 seconds.[1]
Haerta provided Disjunction[2] and her Epic Necromancy spell, Familicide[3] with which Vaarsuvius eradicated 25% of the Black dragons, several part-dragon hybrids died as well, including the entire Draketooth Clan, and some humans with dragon ancestry.
There was some confusion over the spelling of her name. In her first appearance she was introduced as "Haera Bloodsoak"[4], but she was subsequently mentioned twice by Lee[5] and once by Jephton the Unholy[6] as "Haerta". She is listed in the GiantITP.com forum thread for character appearances as Haerta Bloodsoak, Wrecan deciding that since she had three mentions as Haerta and only one as Haera that the former was her intended name.
