The High Priest of Sunna is a human male cleric who is the formal head of the Church of Sunna.

The High Priest was present at the Northern Godsmoot to represent his goddess. After he cast Summon Proxy and was overtaken by the spirit of Sunna, Sunna spoke through him to vote to destroy the world as a precaution, saying, "Nuke it from Orbit. It's the only way to be sure."[1]

He was conflicted about his goddess' decision to destroy the world, but remained faithful. When Roy and "Durkon" began to fight, the High Priestess of Freya wanted to aid Roy, but the High Priest of Sunna intervened, stating that although he didn't want to see the end of the world, he had to obey her wishes, and threatened to fight on "Durkon"'s side if she cast any spells to help Roy.[2]

Despite this intervention and his goddess vote to destroy the world, when the Creed of the Stone vampires attacked Roy, who pointed out that they were not under the protection of the rules of the Godsmoot, the High Priest of Sunna entered the fray on the side of Roy, being the first to cast a spell against the Vampires. He destroyed the vampire with a Flame Strike. He rationalized the decision by claiming that the vampires were "unrelated" to the issue before the Godsmoot.[3]
