D&D Context[]
- Druids like Leeky are more heavily focused on spell casting, whereas the Cleric class has better armor and weapons available making it a better class for melee combat. However, the Wild Shape ability can neutralize this advantage as we see here.
- Wild Shape is a special ability druids gain starting at level 5, which allows them to take the form of an animal.
- The planetar is correct; the description of Control Weather states that "you cannot control specific applications of the weather—where lightning strikes, for example". The planetar is also holding a copy of the D&D Players Handbook.
Trivia[]
- The title is a reference to the koan-like philosophical saying, "If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a noise?"
