Janna (or possibly Jenna) is a dwarven bard, who was apprenticed to Thirden at the time of Durkon Thundershield's ordination as a cleric of Thor. She is devoted to her master, but displays poor ability at song composition and performance. Janna was present as Durkon's ordination party.

She joined Thirden in Sigdi's call for aid against the vampires in Firmament. She entered the Council of Clans chamber with the rest of Durkon's family, helped to subdue the council guards without killing them, and was among those who helped to hold Gontor in the sunlight and destroy him.

Powers & Abilities

• When Janna first appears at Durkon's ordination, she seems to lack musical ability. But when she appears again coming to Durkon's aid at the Council of Clan Elders, she is capable of singing a Song of Freedom. To do this she needs to be at least a 12th level bard, with much improved musical abilities.

Name

• In #1166, Sigdi refers to her has "Jenna". "Janna" was used first, and is repeated in #1178, so that appears to be the correct name.
