Kitty was a hawk and the Animal Companion of Leeky Windstaff, former member of the Linear Guild. Kitty was involved in the Guild's plot to kidnap Julia Greenhilt and use the inevitable rescue attempt to infiltrate the Order of the Stick. Kitty harassed Haley, keeping her from providing support from the rooftops. Kitty was bisected by Roy after Vaarsuvius dispelled the birds' magical protection. Leeky abandoned the Guild soon after.
The bird's name and species is a reference to the location of the Wright Brother's first powered flight in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
