Mijung was Soon Kim's wife and one of the first victims of the Snarl's rifts 66 years ago. Because of the Snarl's divine nature, her soul is destroyed, denying her passage to the afterlife and making her resurrection impossible. It is implied she experimented with magic and was both learned and inquisitive. Her death prompted Soon to form Order of the Scribble and investigate the rifts.
