The panel shows Belkar jumping off Calder towards Bloodfeast's head while the Allosaurus still has his teeth sunk into Calder's neck.
Belkar: Save your breath, Roy. I mean in general, you should talk less.
Belkar: But also specifically right now. We'll finish this off for you.
- Panel 2
The panel shows Belkar standing on Bloodfeast's head while looking downwards and whistling.
- Panel 3
The panel cuts to Mr. Scruffy on the ground, looking upwards.
- Panel 4
The panel shows Mr. Scruffy jumping onto Bloodfeast's tail while Minrah looks at the cat.
- Panel 5
The panel shows Mr. Scruffy running up Bloodfeast's back.
- Panel 6
The panel shows Mr. Scruffy jumping off Bloodfeast's head as Belkar looks on.
- Panel 7
The panel shows Mr. Scruffy making a claw attack against Calder's cheek as he is slashed by something off-panel. Calder dies, a big X replacing his visible eye as a final puff of flame comes out of his maw. SLASH!

Calder's head lands on the ground inside the stasis circles. whump.
- Panel 9
The panel shows Mr. Scruffy about to land back on Bloodfeast's head as Belkar celebrates his pet cat's victory.
Belkar: Yes! That was amazing!
Belkar: Bloodfeast, you were just tanking hits left and right, then I softened him up-
Belkar: -and BOOM! Mr. Scruffy comes in for the kill shot! Hell yeah! You're a Dragon-Slayer now!
- Panel 10
The panel cuts to Serini walking towards Roy, with the burnt and battered fighter standing in a pool of Calder's blood as he has cut through Calder's neck with the Greenhilt Sword.
Serini: Uh, kid, I don't think it was your cat that struck the killing blow.
Roy: It's fine, whatever. Let him have it. Go team.
D&D Context[]
- A Cat's Claw attack usually deals 1d2-4 points of damage. While this is usually just a minor annoyance to high-level PC characters, low-level NPC characters such as 1st level Commoners are in serious danger from a cat's claws.
